As I dove further into the Slavery by Another Name book I could not help but be captivated by the riveting accounts of horror that slowly destroyed the lives of the helpless victims that were leased out through the industrial prison system as black men were placed in inhuman conditions while working for pennies in mines or factories. I eagerly await the trip the the Sloss Furnace as we embark on a historic adventure.
